We believe both the Old and New Testaments are inspired by God alone. These scriptures are inerrant and unchanging in what they affirm and are our final authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
Psalm 119:89; 2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21
We believe in the Trinity, one God eternally existing as three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, equal in glory and power.
Matthew 28:19-20; Deut 6:4; John 1:1-4; 2 Corinthians 13:14
We believe Jesus Christ is the only Son of God. Jesus Christ was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary. He was sinless in act and thought. He paid fully the penalty for the sin of man when He died on the cross. He arose from the grave and ascended into heaven where He now intercedes for His own.
Matthew 16:15-17; Heb 1:3
We believe in the person of the Holy Spirit. He convicts the world of sin, righteousness and judgment. At conversion, He regenerates, indwells, seals and baptizes the believer into the body of Christ. The Holy Spirit fills and conforms the yielding believer increasingly to the image of Christ. He enables the believer to live a life of Christian victory through faith in Jesus Christ and obedience to the Word of God. As He wills, the Holy Spirit gives spiritual gifts and empowerment for spiritual service.
John 14:16-17, 26; Acts 2:38; Romans 8:9; Romans 8:26, 27
We believe man was created in the image of God. In Adam, he fell because of disobedience and rebellion against God and thereby incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death which is separation from God. As a consequence, all mankind is declared by God to be totally depraved, having inherited a sinful nature and having become sinners in thought, word and deed.
Genesis 1:26a; Isaiah 64:6-7; Ephesians 2:1-3
We believe that salvation has been provided by the grace of God alone, through the substitutionary death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. This salvation must be personally appropriated by the sinner through conversion consisting of repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ. We believe in justification by faith alone, that the one who is justified and born again is absolved of all guilt through remission of sin. They will never come under condemnation but pass from death into new life.
Romans 8:33-34, 2 Corinthians 5:17-19,21 Ephesians 2:8-9
We believe in the personal, bodily and glorious return of the Lord Jesus Christ; in the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust; in the eternal blessedness of the redeemed and in the judgment and eternal consciousness of the unbelievers.
I Thessalonians 4:13-18; Daniel 12:2
